Sandra James is the Founder and CEO of Private Eyes, a WBENC-certified, global provider of employment screening and workforce risk solutions. Since founding the company in 1999, Sandra has grown Private Eyes into a trusted partner for organizations nationwide, delivering accurate, compliant, and efficient background screening services that help reduce hiring risk.

With over three decades of entrepreneurial leadership, Sandra is known for building scalable, compliance-driven solutions rooted in accuracy, speed, and accountability. Under her leadership, Private Eyes has served nationally recognized clients across healthcare, finance, manufacturing, retail, and government sectors.

Sandra later expanded her expertise into income verification services supporting financial institutions with IRS-based income verification.

A passionate advocate for women-owned businesses, Sandra has served on the WBENC Board of Directors and currently serves on the WBEC-Pacific Board, in addition to participating on advisory boards and executive leadership groups.
