This month we will be heading to J Resorts for lunch and a presentation by Jonathan Boulware, Regional VP of Nevada Operations for J Resorts.
In 2017, Jacobs Entertainment began a journey to transform and revitalize West Downtown Reno by acquiring 200 acres of land. The vision is to create a dynamic new destination where people can live, stay, and experience art, great food, entertainment, sporting activities, and Reno’s history. They have branded this area as The J Resort Reno’s Neon Line District, which currently features 13 art sculptures along West 4th Street, vibrant entertainment in our Glow Plaza and Festival Ground Entertainment venues, and our newest remodeled property – the J Resort. This district will continue to take shape as a modern hub of culture, comfort, and excitement, anchored by major expansion plans for the J Resort. Jonathan will tell us more about how this vision began, why they chose West 4th Street, and their plans for this area over the next five years. You will hear why this is more than a development—to them it is the next evolution of Reno, a place built for community, connection, and unforgettable experiences.
