Bio
Ericka Aviles is a dynamic and passionate connector in Nevada with over 20 years of experience working in communications, public outreach, marketing and sales both across private and public sectors including the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority and MGM Resorts International. Ericka's extensive network and community involvement reflect her dedication to making Nevada a better place to live, work, and play.
In 2015, she built Ericka Aviles Consulting (EAC) to be an award-winning boutique, female-owned and powered agency specializing in digital communications, marketing, and community relations. She and her team have been bridging language gaps for businesses, institutions, non-profits, and government organizations through authentic, tailored outreach strategies. Finding ways to have better conversations is a guiding principle they educate clients on. EAC's diverse portfolio includes statewide and regional education and health campaigns, sports marketing, civic engagement, infrastructure projects, solidifying our reputation as the go-to agency in this space.
But her most enduring legacy may be Latinas in Power, the statewide professional network she founded to connect and elevate nearly 1,000 Latina leaders. “Lifting as we climb” isn’t just a motto, it’s the guiding principle behind everything Aviles does.
Born in El Salvador, Aviles immigrated to the U.S. at age six, arriving in Las Vegas without speaking English. She became the first in her family to graduate high school, earn a college degree, and launch a business. That journey fuels her mission: to create opportunity and awareness for the underserved.
